Awarded the Wisconsin Producers First Grant

Roots Down Community Farm and Good Creative were awarded the Producers First Grant this week.  The money will be used to create a web site and enhanced identity for the farm.  The website will host many innovative features such as:

  • Online csa payment and sign up
  • Newsletter
  • Live CSA Counter or availability meter
  • Veggie Identification Section (gallery of photos and information about veggies offered. Including storage and other tips)
  • Interactive searchable recipe database
  • Event Calendar

Work is already underway and the site should launch by mid March.
